The BJP is strongly marching ahead towards a landslide victory. The party is all set to gain a majority in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Preparing for the announcement of the big win, BJP has asked its 20,000 workers to reach the BJP headquarters in the evening. The party workers have been called to give a grand welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will take oath for his second term on May 26.
The party has also asked all its winning candidates across the country to reach Delhi by May 25.
Taking an early lead, BJP was leading in over 300 seats and the Congress was ahead in over 50 seats at around 2:30 pm, according to Election Commission of India’s website.
Congratulating “India”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet said: “India wins yet again!”

Also, Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and Home Minister Rajnath Singh took to Twitter to congratulate Prime Minister for the victory.

While many exit polls have predicted a comfortable victory for the BJP. According to ECI’s website, PM Modi has bagged 4,14,144 votes, getting a 63.7% vote share by 2:30 pm.
67.11 percent of the 90.99 crore electors had cast their vote in the Lok Sabha elections held across the nation in seven phases. The polling concluded on May 19.
