Tamil Nadu went to polls for 18 assembly seats along with 38 Lok Sabha seats in the second phase of the upcoming elections on Thursday.
When asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to power, he said, “we will know on May 23”.
The AIADMK government needs at least 116 seats for a clear majority. The party currently has 114 excluding the Speaker.
All eyes are on the outcome of the by-polls, as a loss for the AIADMK could well lead to the next assembly polls.
