Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at a roadshow in Indore on Monday was greeted with pro-Modi slogans. As the convoy of Congress General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh East passed by, a crowd on the roadside started shouting pro-Modi slogans.
To their surprise Priyanka Gandhi stopped her vehicle, gently stepped down shook hands with them smiling affectionately and said softly “Aap ani jagah, main meri jagah…all the best.”
Her sportive gesture impressed everyone around who cheered for her as she left. Moved by her simplicity and humbleness, locals wished her luck as she left.
Priyanka Gandhi was campaigning for Kamal Nath in Madhya Pradesh. Congress General Secretary was holding a rally at Raj Mohalla.
Earlier in the day Priyanka Gandhi was seen breaking the security protocol by jumping over the wooden fencing to shake hands with the women supporters in the crowd in Ratlam. She also posed for selfies with them.
Priyanka Gandhi was campaigning in Madhya Pradesh for the first time.
Indore along with Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsour, Ratlam, Dhar, Khargone and Khandwa of Madhya Pradesh will go to polls in the seventh phase on May 19. The counting will be on May 23rd.
