Aamir Khan’s film ‘Laal Singh Chadha’ is scheduled to release on Christmas next year. On Monday morning, on his Twitter and Instagram account, Aamir Khan announced the release date and shared a teaser poster of the film, captioned, ‘Sat Sri Akal Ji, my name is Laal Singh Chadha.’
Aamir will play the lead character of Laal Singh Chadha in the film. The poster teaser shared on social media has the actor wearing a pink turban, pink check shirt, and grey trousers.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Aamir’s new look – with a mustache and a long beard – has raised the excitement level among his fans.
Kareen Kapoor Khan will be seen as the leading lady in Laal Singh Chadha.
Laal Singh Chadha directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions is the Hindi remake of the 1994 American drama film, Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright in the lead role.
Forrest Gump, The American comedy-drama film directed by Robert Zemeckis is based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom. The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump (Hanks), a slow-witted but kind-hearted man from Alabama who witnesses and unwittingly influences several defining historical events in the 20th century in the United States.
On November 6, Aamir Khan on his social media shared a video clip giving an update about Laal Singh Chadha. The video featured a white feather blowing in the wind, the last part of the clip featured the name and release date of the film. “Kya pata hum mein hai kahani, ya hain kahaani mein hum,” wrote Aamir Khan sharing the video.

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have previously worked in 3 Idiots and Talaash: The Answer Lies. Laal Singh Chaddha is the duo’s third film together.
