The first teaser of ‘Jhund’ starring Amitabh Bachchan has released today. The movie is directed by Nagraj Manjule.

The teaser begins with a voice-over of Bachchan saying, “Jhund nahi kahiye sir, team kahiye (Don’t call us crowd, call us a team)”.

In the one minute and nineteen seconds long teaser, we see a bunch of kids walking in, with an extremely peppy Marathi folk music playing in the background.

The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, founder of the NGO Slum Soccer. This biographical film will hit the screens on May 8, 2020.  The film has been produced under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films and Aatpat Production.

Nagraj Manjule is the director of the 2016 pathbreaking film ‘Sairat’ starring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in the lead. After making super-hit films in Marathi cinema, Manjule will debut as a director in the Bollywood industry with ‘Jhund’.
The poster of the film was released yesterday, which received positive reviews from the fan over social media platforms.
