If you thought Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan voicing ‘Mufasa’ in The Lion King gave you goosebumps then wait for Aryan Khan. Yes, ever since it is announced that the father-son are going to lend their voices for the Hindi version of the movie, fans have been excited to hear both.

Superstar Shahrukh Khan on Thursday shared a video presenting his son Aryan Khan as Simba from the upcoming film The Lion King. In the promotional video of the Hindi version of Disney’s live-action film, Aryan is heard introducing himself as Simba, son of Mufasa.

“Mera Simba,” Shahrukh captioned the video and thank god the teaser reads ‘Aryan Khan is Simba’ otherwise it wouldn’t be easy for the fans to recognise that whose voice it is actually because Aryan Khan sounds just like his father.

Bollywood Director and Producer Karan Johar, one of Shahrukh Khan’s closest friend tweeted that hearing Aryan’s voice has made him excited.

Earlier, in June, King Khan introduced his son as Simba in a unique way. When the entire country was dipped in the excitement tub of ICC World Cup tournament, Shahrukh Khan shared a picture of himself and Aryan wearing team India jerseys. SRK’s jersey had Mufasa written on it, while Aryan’s jersey read Simba.

In the Hindi version of The Lion King, Ashish Vidyarthi plays Scar, Shreyas Talpade plays Timon, Sanjay Mishra is Pumbaa and Asrani is Zazu.

In the English version, actor James Earl Jones, who originally played Mufasa in Disney’s 1994 movie, returns to voice Mufasa while Donald Glover is Simba. The film will see Beyonce as Nala, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner as Pumba and Timon and John Oliver as Zazu.

Helmed by Jon Favreau, The Lion King remake  will hit the theatres on July 19, 2019 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
