The poster comes a day after the director of the film, Vikas Behl was cleared of all the sexual harassment charges against him. The film now feature Vikas Behl’s name in the credits.

After the sexual charges against Vikas Behl surfaced, he decided to step down as the director of the film. Following this, Hrithik tweeted, “It is impossible for me to work with any person if he/she is guilty of such grave misconduct. I am away and have access to only sporadic information. I have requested the producers of Super 30 to take stock of the apparent facts and take a harsh stand if need be. This is not to be hushed or brushed under the carpet. All proven offenders must be punished and all exploited people must be empowered and given strength to speak up.”

The film release date has also been changed several times. On May 9, Hrithik decided to change the release date of the film. Earlier, film was slated to release on January 26, 2019. But, it was shifted to release on July 26, 2019. But, to avoid clash with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya, Hrithik decided to prepone the release to July 12, 2019.

Hrithik will be seen playing the role of Anand Kumar in the film. Super 30 is based on the life of Pune scholar Anand Kumar, who trains 30 economically-backward students for IIT-JEE entrance examination.
