Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui received the ‘Lesley Ho Asian Film Talent Award’ for his role in the Netflix series ‘Sacred Games’ at the Singapore International Film Festival on Saturday.

The event was attended by both Nawazuddin and the director of the show Anurag Kashyap. The actor received this award from a Business Tycoon of Beijing, Charles Ho.

The Gangs of Wassaypur fame actor expressed his gratitude on Twitter. He wrote, “It’s an absolute honour to be felicitated by the prestigious #LesleyHoAsianFilmTalentAward at ‘Singapore International Film Festival’ (@SGIFF) for contributing towards International cinema with #SacredGames by the charming Mr. Charles Ho #Gratitude #Humbled.”

 The actor also shared pictures from the event on Twitter.

Nawazzudin will also hold a conversation session at the on-going 30th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF). The 18 day-long film festival, started on November 21.

The 45-year-old actor played the role of ‘Ganesh Gaitonde’ in Sacred Games series. The versatile actor aced his debut in the digital platform as well.

Recently, Nawazuddin was seen in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ opposite Athiya Shetty. The movie received mixed reactions and performed below average at the box office.
