Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ continues to roar at the box office. The ticket collections of the film are higher than Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero and Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan at Box office.
‘Simmba’ has surpassed the ‘Zero’ film collection for 6 days at the box office with a taking of Rs 14 crore. While Zero’s total box office collection for six days was Rs 81 crore, the Rohit Shetty entertainer has grossed Rs 150 crore.
The film also outperformed Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which failed at the box office Thugs had posted an earning of just a total of Rs 134 crore.
On the back of good reviews and word of mouth and an extended New Year holiday, Simmba ticket sales soared and the film is doing well both in India and abroad.

Ranveer Singh has been ruling the box office from day 1 of 2018. While Padmaavat grossed Rs 150 crore in just a week at the beginning of 2018 Ranveer closed 2018 with his second hit Simmba.
‘Simmba’ is Rohit Shetty’s eighth film in a row to enter the Rs100 crore club.
This is both Ranveer and Rohit’s biggest opening week, as well, and the second biggest opening week for a film released in 2018, following Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju.
