Bollywood Actor Varun Dhawan had a narrow escape during the shoot of a stunt sequence on the sets of his upcoming movie ‘Coolie No.1’. The actor is working on the remake of the 1995 movie named the same.
According to a leading newspaper, Varun was shooting for a heavy stunt sequence in Pune. The stunt required the actor to sit inside a car, hanging upside down from a cliff and give few close-ups. During the shooting, the actor found the door to be jammed and struggled to get out of the car.
The stunt sequence was performed under the supervision of experienced stunt directors. Despite rehearsing the sequence several times, it failed during the final take.
The sources further added, the stunt coordinators tried to remove Varun from the car but the placement of the car was making it difficult. The actor kept his nerves throughout the time and escaped this accident unhurt.

The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, who is roped in to play the character of ‘Hoshiyar Chand’, which was played by late Kadeer Khan in the original movie. The veteran actor passed away on December 31, 2018.
Director David Dhawan is confident about Anupam Kher pulling off this role flawlessly.
