The competition was high this weekend as three critically acclaimed movies hit the theatres. While two of the movies included two brilliant actors, Ali Fazal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, another one was directed by a genius director Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra.

Photograph directed by ‘the Lunchbox’ director Ritesh Batra faced a slow start in the weekend with just Rs 95 lakh at the box office.

The film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra had received good review form the critics and public the film managed to rake in a total of Rs 35 lakh at the box office on its third day.

From the makers of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, Ali Faizal starrer Milan Talkies has received a mixed review from the audience. However, the film couldn’t make it that big.

The film grossed Rs 15 lakh consecutively on the three opening days each, raking up weekend box-office collection to Rs 45 lakh.

On the other hand, overshadowed by the other two films, Rakyesh Mehra’s Mere Pyaare Prime Minister grossed a minimal Rs 28lakh over the weekend.
