After IndiGo Airlines, Air India and SpiceJet, GoAir has also suspended comedian Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice, it informed in a post on Twitter on January 29.

This comes after the comedian humilaited television news anchor Arnab Goswami while travelling on an IndiGo flight with him on Tuesday.

“GoAir has suspended Mr. Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice @MoCA_GoI @DGCAIndia @HardeepSPuri @IndiGo6E”, GoAir tweeted after SpiceJet suspended Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline.

“SpiceJet has decided to suspend Mr. Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice,” the carrier said in its post while tagging the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and IndiGo Airlines.

Kunal, meanwhile, responded to SpiceJet, saying:

After the incident between Kunal Kamra and Arnab Goswami, IndiGo Airlines had announced in a statement on Tuesday that Kunal Kamra has been barred for six months “as his conduct onboard was unacceptable behaviour”. In their Twitter post, IndiGo Airlines also “advised” passengers “to refrain from indulging in personal slander whilst onboard, as this can potentially compromise the safety of fellow passengers.”

IndiGo Airlines’s post was followed by a tweet from Hardeep Singh Puri, who “advised other airlines to impose similar restrictions” on Kunal Kamra.

Soon after which, Air India also announced its decision of barring Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline.

On January 28, after humiliating Arnab Goswami, Kunal Kamra had shared a video of the particular incident on his social media accounts.
