Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has revised the eligibility criteria and date of application for the Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (CTET).
The applicants can now register till 14 March 2019. Not just the application dates, CBSE has also revised the eligibility cretirion for the test.
The new order is in compliance with orders of Hon’ble Court says the public notice published on CTET website – ctet.nic.in
The public notice released by Central Board of Secondary Education read:
“Any candidate who have cleared their graduation with a B.ED. Before NCTE principal notification dated 23/08/2010 determining the eligibility of the teachers teaching in a school, will be allowed to apply by CBSE based on the ruling given by the Honorable Court of India”.
The last date for payment of fees for the examination has been extended to March 15th 2019. The notification also informs the students that the verification of the application can be done on March 19th.
If the confirmation page does not display then the candidate is directed to contact Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 25-03-2019 (Monday) to 01-04-2019 (Monday) with the fee payment proof (E-challan- Student’s copy)
This has paved the way for more eligible candidates to apply and seek better jobs through CTET examination.
CTET Paper I is for candidates who want to be eligible to teach from Class I to Class V and Paper II is for those who seek eligibility to teach from Class VI to VIII.
