Lakhs of people in Mumbai witnessed Lalbaugcha Raja’s final journey as the idol made its way from Lalbaug for the visarjan. Through the narrow lanes of Chinchpokli to Byculla Lord Ganesha made his way to Girgam Chowpaty.

Even though the procession journey starts in the morning on but it takes almost 24 hours for the idol to reach Girgam for the immersion.

The festival, which began on Ganesh Chaturthi on September 13, concluded on Sunday (‘Anant Chaturdashi’).
