The Indian Air Force is all set to celebrate its 86th Air Force Day 2018 today.

To mark this special day , a grand parade-cum-investiture ceremony was held at Air Force station Hindan, Ghaziabad, where Chief of the Air Staff, reviewed the parade.

As the Indian Air Force prepares to celebrate the anniversary, A complete team of IAF is ready with a ceremonial parade and investiture ceremony as a part of celebrations at Air Force Station Hindan Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The men and women of IAF have been preparing for the events since a month now; and the parade will be followed by an air display and acrobatics by the Air Force’s various aircraft, including Jaguar, Bison, MiG-29, Mirage-2000 and SUKHOI-30 MKI fighter jets and the Indigenously developed Rudra helicopters.

Later in the day Air Force Chief, Birender Singh Dhanoa, will address the nation on AIR Rajdhani Channel, followed by ‘Sainikon Ke Liye’ on FM GOLD and FM Rainbow.

IAF is also commemorating the sacrifice and the hard work of several of its personnel who worked relentlessly to make it an air force of Global repute armed with the state of the art technology from where it started in 1932 as an under equipped Royal Indian Air Force.
