IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman heroism was not only lauded in India but also in Pakistan. An elderly tea seller in Karachi used Abhinandan’s picture in his tea banner to give his business a little boost.
The banner also had a line which said that a tea which can bring together and can even turn foes into friends.
“Aisi chai ki dushman ko bhi dost banaye (Such a tea that makes even an enemy a friend),” the poster written in Urdu said.
Soon, the image caught a steam of attention on internet and the photo went viral. Twitterati can’t stop praising the marketing skills of the tea stall owner.

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman returned to India on March 1 after being captive for two days in Pakistan. Abhinandan was flying MiG 21 Bison when it was shot down after India repulsed Pakistani aircraft that transgressed into the Indian airspace.
