Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other opposition party leaders attended the all-party meeting called by the centre ahead of the winter session.
The agenda os the meeting was to build consensus between both the houses for the smooth functioning of both houses during the winter session of the Parliament.
The meeting was attended by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and several opposition leaders, including Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mallikarjun Kharge and Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D Raja among others.
According to reports, PM Modi has sought support from opposition parties for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Morever, 23 bills have been listed for consideration.
