With the onset of monsoon, an anti-encroachment team was on a drive inspecting buildings and demolishing structures that posed danger to the lives of people living around.
The video shows Akash threatening the officials to leave the area within ten minutes or will face consequences. The residents in the locality apparently called on the legislator when the municipal officials reached the area to demolish a building in a dilapidated state.
However, BJP MLA Akash Vijayavargiya when questioned about his actions responded saying “This is just the beginning, we will end this corruption and goondaism. ‘Aavedan, nivedan aur fir dana dan’ this is our line of action,” as quoted by news agency ANI.
Moreover Akash alleged that “Gangs dragged women out of their houses by their feet, women police should have been with them. When I reached there, people got angry at the officers and chased them away, we have come to the station to register FIR against the officers” quoted ANI.
