Actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna on Friday apologized after he lost his cool and misbehaved with a channel’s journalist. In a tweet, Nandamuri Balakrishna apologized for his actions and comments made on Wednesday against MoJo TV videographer. He said he mistook him for a trouble-maker, who was harassing the children gathered there. He said he is apologizing to the videographer if his or other journalists’ sentiments were hurt.
In a brazen act of high-handedness, actor-turned-politician Balakrishna slapped a journalist, hurled abuses and even threatened to ‘bomb him’ during a political rally in Andhra Pradesh.
The TDP MLA’s security personnel allegedly mistreated a bunch of students who rushed to meet the Tollywood star. When a journalist attempted to capture the scuffle, the actor, notorious for his aggressive behaviour in the past, forced the journalist to delete the video, slapped him, hurled expletives and left the place saying “I know how to bomb you.”
A video of the incident was shared widely on various social media platforms that invited the wrath of netizens that forced the leader to blurt out an apology on Facebook under pressure.
Balakrishna is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu‘s brother-in-law and his son Nara Lokesh’s father in law.
