Opposition leader MK Stalin on TN budget
- This budget doesn’t give anything for poor and downtrodden people. The budget is about just paying interest to the debts. Around 4 lakh crore is debt. Not even a single announcement to increase the revenue.
- Teachers and government employees are protesting and not even a single word about it in the budget.
- Around a crore people are unemployed in the state now, govt doesn’t care about the people and youths who are unemployed.
- The state govt is not ready even to get the fund which the state government has to receive from the centre for the local bodies.
- It’s like how people looted things from kodanadu estate, this budget is to loot things from the state & people.
