As per the recent survey by the professional networking site-LinkedIn, Bengaluru stands at the top in paying the highest among all the cities. Mumbai is the second highest paying region followed by Delhi NCR (Gurugram, Noida and Delhi) while Hyderabad and Chennai stood at fourth and fifth biggest payers respectively, as per the report.
This is on the basis of data collected from over 53 million users in India collected by LinkedIn salary. As far as the professions are concerned, hardware and networking was the most paying profession followed by software and IT services, consumer goods and healthcare.
In terms of cities Bengaluru is ahead of others since it’s the IT hub and this industry pays the most in comparison to other industries
While the report is based on last two months’ data, however, the users will be able to access the salary landscape for a particular profession and region with the feature of LinkedIn salary, which is now available in India. Factors such as bonus and equity titles along with the other factors that influence the pay such as years of experience, industry, company size, location, and education level etc will also be accessible on the website.
