Immediately, I realised two people had passed away.”
While the two men succumbed to their injuries, CT Ravi, his gunman and the driver escaped the mishap with minor injuries and were discharged after first aid.
“I myself called the ambulance and the ensured that police also came. I waited there till the injured and dead were taken to hospital. I also waited till police formalities. I got first aid and cancelled my trip to Chennai. I will be meeting with the family. I understand their pain. But, all I have to say is that this is was not done intentionally,” he added.
