LGBTQI, Chennai to host gender, sexuality and asexuality fest

Starting from today, Chennai is hosting a week-long gender, sexuality and asexuality fest till July 7. The fest is being organised by Indian Aces, an initiative working across gender & sexuality active both online and offline across and beyond India.

The fest, to be facilitated by the founder of Indian Aces, Pragati Singh, is being conducted with support from the PlanetRomeo foundation.

Indian Aces has conducted events and presentations across the world as well as in Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune.

The festival is an exclusive opportunity for a weekend-long indulgence into understanding and engaging with these intriguing subjects in a safe and fun environment reads the event details on Facebook.

The events are suitable for audiences over the age of 16 years, with absolutely no other restrictions or limitations. The subject matter is designed by a medical expert to be easily understood by one and all

According to a media report, events will include an interactive workshop on the foundational concepts of sex, gender, sexuality, and the alphabet soup; PLatonicity, a speed dating /meetup for all genders looking for non-sexual relationships, regardless of reasons and orientations; and Sexuality & Asexuality 101 workshop, a highly an interactive session to understand a ground-breaking new model of human sexuality and its nuances. Counselling sessions can be scheduled on request.

For the early bird registration, interested may self-apply a 20% discount on registering for any 2 events, 30% for any 3 events, 40% for 4, and 50% if you’re joining all.
