A seven-year-old boy was kidnapped by a fourteen-year-old-boy who is currently in class 10 for money. He kidnapped the boy while he was playing outside his house. The kidnapper demanded a ransom of Rs 3 lakh from the victim’s father.

 The juvenile made the victim sit inside a temple and threatened his parents that he will kill the boy if he didn’t get the money in full.

The incident was reported on Sunday at Hyderabad’s Meerpet police station, which falls within the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate in Hyderabad. The boy lives in TSR Nagar of Meerpet with his parents. He went missing around 3 pm.

Around 3:30, victim’s father, Raj Kumar, received a phone call that his boy is been kidnapped and the kidnapper demands a ransom of 3 lakh rupees.

 After the case was reported to the police, they traced back the call to the fourteen-year-old-boy and within three hours using intelligence collection and found the victim and arrested the kidnapper.

 The kidnapper found to be a resident of YSR Nagar in Almsguda has earlier been involved in several burglary cases. The kidnapper is reported to be in police custody now.
