Afghanistan Cricket Team on Friday announced their T20I and ODI squad for the upcoming series against West Indies in India.

Afghanistan and West Indies are slated to play three ODIs, three T20Is and a one-off test.

All the games are scheduled to play at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Rashid Khan, who replaced Gulbadin Naib as skipper, will lead the team in ODIs and T20Is. Naib was axed as skipper after an abysmal display at the World Cup finals.

The series will begin three ODIs (November 6, 9 and 11), followed by 3 T20Is (November 14, 16 and 17), and a one-off test, beginning 27 November.

Shafiqullah Shafiq, Dawlat Zadran, Shahidullah Kamal, Fazal Niazai and Najeeb Tarakai have been dropped from the team that played the T20 series against Bangladesh.

Afghanistan ODI squad: Rashid Khan (c), Asghar Afghan, Hazratullah Zazai, Rahmat Shah, Javed Ahmadi, Afsar Zazai, Gulbadin Naib, Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Karim Janat, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Ibrahim Zadran, Yamin Ahmadzai, Naveen-ul-Haq, Ikram Alikhil, Mujeeb ur Rahman.
