Earlier, Sixers skipper James Pattinson won the toss and decided to bowl here at the Gabba.
Steve O’Keefe dismissed Heat’s skipper and talisman Chris Lynn and was later awarded the player of the match award.
After Lynn’s dismissal, Heat’s top and middle-order collapsed miserably. As a result, they were reduced to 93/8.
But, a handy contribution from James Pattinson, which included a couple of maximums and a boundary helped the Heat to cross the 120-run mark.
