Hosts and favorites, England have named their official 15-man squad for the upcoming 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Chris Jordan and Jofra Archer have missed out on making the cut for the 15-man squad for the World Cup but have been included for the series against Ireland and Pakistan.

Eoin Morgan has been named the skipper for the World Cup and for the series against Pakistan and Ireland as well.

For the World Cup, Alex Hales, Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Morgan and Jos Buttler form the core group of batsmen.

Moeen Ali and Joe Denly will act as spin bowling all-rounders with Adil Rashid the premier spinner in the squad.

Ben Stokes is the medium-fast bowling all rounder as he would be supporting the pace battery of Liam Plunkett, Chris Woakes, David Willey, Tom Curran and Mark Wood.


For the Ireland series, Bairstow, Buttler, Stokes and Woakes have been rested while Sam Billings and James Vince have been drafted in as replacements.
