Real Madrid has finally announced the signing of Belgium International Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC. After weeks of chaos in social media, both the clubs have reached an agreement with a fee £100 million + add on.
Hazard will be leaving Chelsea, 7 years after his arrival from French side Lille OSC for an estimated fee of £32 million. The 27-year-old completed a domestic double with the French side, back in 2011.
However, after 7 years at the bridge, Hazard has developed into a player who is capable of winning the game on his own. The Belgian is one of the most lethal attacking wingers in the world.
For the last 3-4 years, he’s been part of the Top 4, alongside Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi and ex-Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

While for Hazard, he ended his career at Chelsea with a silverware, after he scored a brace which inspired the Londoners to a 4-1 victory over city rivals Arsenal in the Europa League final.
After the final, Hazard said in an interview with BT Sports that, “I think it’s a goodbye, but in football, you never know.
My dream was to play in the Premier League and I did this for seven years for one of the biggest clubs. So now maybe it’s time for a new challenge.”
During his time at Chelsea, Hazard won 2 League titles, 2 Europa League titles and a fa cup and League cup each.
He won the PFA fans player of the year for 2018-19 after he inspired the club to a third-place finish in the league. Hazard was pivotal as he contributed with 16 goals and 15 assists.
Hazard’s presentation will be on Thursday, June 13.
Earlier, Real Madrid also announced the signing of Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt.
As for Chelsea, they’ve already signed Hazard’s replacement in the form of Christian Pulisic. Chelsea had agreed on terms with Borussia Dortmund in the winter transfer window.
