Indian batsman KL Rahul has retained his second-spot to close the gap on Pakistan’s Babar Azam in the ICC T20I rankings for batsman while skipper Virat Kohli has dropped down to the 10th spot.
Earlier this month, KL Rahul was a pivotal figure in India’s 5-0 triumph over New Zealand. He scored 224 runs at an average of 56 and played an instrumental role as India whitewashed the Kiwis on their soil.
Captain Kohli, however, managed to stitch just 105 runs from four innings, after being rested for the final T20I.
England limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan has replaced Kohli after leading the catalyzing the ‘Three Lions’ 2-1 triumph over South Africa. He scored 136 runs from three innings against the Proteas.
Morgan leap-frogged Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma to occupy the ninth spot.
South African skipper Quinton de Kock, meanwhile, jumped 10 places to occupy the 16ht spot. He scored 131 runs in the three-match series against England.

In the all-rounder’s charts, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi lead the lines, respectively.
In the team rankings, England have retained their third spot, two points behind second-placed Australia. Pakistan still sits at the top of the pile while India remain fourth.
