India skipper Virat Kohli and left-hander Shikhar Dhawan have advanced one place each in the latest ICC Men’s T20I rankings after the conclusion of the series against Sri Lanka.
On Friday, India defeated Sri Lanka to clinch three-match T20I series 2-0 after the first T20I was washed out.
While, KL Rahul retained his sixth spot with 760 points, having gained 26 points. Rahul is currently the highest-ranked Indian in the list.
Kohli, who leads the charts in Test and ODIs, has occupied the ninth spot while Dhawan has jumped from 16th to 15th.

India pacers also have made notable gains in the first T20I update of the year and would be boosted as they prepare for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia.
Navdeep Saini, who was named player of the series against Sri Lanka, has moved to the 98th spot, having made a massive leap from pf 144 places.
Shardul Thakur has reclaimed the 92nd spot while Jaspreet Bumrah, back after a long term injury, has gained eight places to the 39th spot.
Meanwhile, for Sri Lanka, Dhananjaya de Silva has gained 72 places to reach 115th among batsmen after amalgamating 74 runs while spinner Lakshan Sandakan has jumped 10 places to reach 29th position after bagging three wickets in the series.
In team rankings, India retains their fifth spot while Sri Lanka occupies the eight spot, having dropped two points.
