Real Madrid, thrashed in the Champions League by PSG midweek, will be entertained by table-toppers Sevilla, fresh from 3-0 away win in the Europa League against Qarabag

Led by Spaniard Julen Loptegui, sacked by Spain on the eve of last year’s World Cup for joining Real Madrid, the manager will aim for success against his former employees.

The Andalusians, so far, are unbeaten after 4 games with 3 wins and a draw. However, Los Blancos are yet to taste defeat in the league this season, can overtake Sevilla with a win on Sunday.

Zinedine Zidane’s men have ten points from four matches, following last week’s 3-2 win over Levante at the Bernabeu.

Although, Real haven’t won at the Sanchez Pizjuan since the 2014/2015. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick which proved decisive in a 3-2 win.

The 33-champions, in fact, have won just twice in last 7 league visits to Sevilla.

In the Champions League in midweek, Real conceded 3 and failed to get a shot at goal. Los Blancos’ last 5 Champions League, including the one at the weekend, have all come during the absence of skipper Sergio Ramos.

However, Ramos is fit enough to play against his former side on Sunday. Interestingly, the Spanish International has scored 7 goals against Sevilla, who are his favourite victims.
