Wicket-keeper batsmen MS Dhoni has donned several roles for Team India over the years. The right-hander is regarded as arguably the greatest match-winner of all-time, also went on to become India’s most successful skipper, having won every major trophy during his spell as the Men in Blue’s talisman.

Ahead of IPL 2020, Dhoni was seen donning a new role in a stadium. A video went viral on social media, in which Dhoni can be seen driving a tractor on JSCA pitch in Ranchi to help out the curators.

“One Man, Different Roles. Mahi trying his hands on pitch roller machine at JSCA yesterday. #DhoniAtJSCA #MahiWay #Dhoni,” a Dhoni fan page captioned the video on Twitter.

Earlier, the 38-year-old was also seen grinding it out at the gym inside the JSCA stadium, which is Dhoni’s home ground.

A few days ago, CSK’s CEO Kashi Vishwanathan confirmed that Dhoni will start practising for IPL from March 3-4. But, he added that CSK’s training camp will begin from March 18-19.

Since the conclusion of the ICC Cricket World Cup, last year, Dhoni has not featured for the Men in Blue.

Also, Dhoni did not find a place for himself in the BCCI’s centrally contracted players list.

BCCI had released the list of central contract list of players for the period from October 2019 to September 2020.
