With all the cricketing action affected by the Global Coronavirus Outbreak, BCCI on Thursday tried to give the fans something to smile about.
Taking to Twitter, BCCI posted a throwback picture of Former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni, with a caption: ‘Smile is the way to be’.

As soon as the picture was posted, MS Dhoni fans were left awestruck and described the wicket-keeper batsman as the synonym of ‘Captain’.

Dhoni, who last played for India during the 2019 World Cup semi-finals defeat to New Zealand, was due to return to action on March 29 in the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. But, due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, the IPL was postponed until April 15.
“Waiting for legend come back. Its been 8 months and 10 days,” a fan revealed the time span since Dhoni’s last appearance.

Last year, Dhoni did not find a place in BCCI’s list of Centrally Contracted Players. The BCCI released a list for the period from October 2019 to September 2020.
