India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on Thursday registered his 250th Test wicket at home during the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh.
By achieving the feat, Ashwin became only third Indian bowler to scalp 250 wickets at home in the longest format.
Before Ashwin, only Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh had bagged 250 Test wickets.
BCCI took to Twitter and congratulated Ashwin: 250 Test wickets at home for @ashwinravi99. He becomes the third Indian bowler to do so after @anilkumble1074 & @harbhajan_singh.

Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed Bangladesh skipper Momnul Haque to reach the milestone.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh had won the toss and elected to bat first.
However, Bangladesh failed to pick any momentum as they were bundled out for 150.
The visitors were 140/5 at a stage before their batting faltered under pressure.
Indian pacers stormed past them on Day 1 as Bangladesh middle-order collapsed, miserably.
For India, Mohammed Shami scalped three wickets while Ashwin, Ishant and Umesh picked two wickets each.
India, however, did not have a good start as they lost Rohit Sharma.
While filing the story, Team India were 20/1 with Mayank Agarwal and Pujara in the middle.
