Eden Hazard has been left out of Real Madrid’s squad for Saturday’s La Liga trip to struggling RCD Mallorca.
La Liga table-toppers face a newly-promoted Mallorca with a lot of absentees, already.
Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Lucas Vazquez have all been left out of the squad while Dani Carvajal has been rested for the mid-week Champions League trip to Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Hazard exclusion from the squad, as reports in Spain suggest his wife has just given birth to their fourth child.
The 28-year-old will play no part for the league leaders at the Iberostar Stadium on Saturday.
Hazard has already missed first three league games since completing a €100 million (£88m/$112m) move from Chelsea.
The Belgian has, so far, appeared in 6 games across La Liga and the Champions League.
However, he has netted just once and has also provided only one assist, both coming in a 4-2 win over Granada at the Bernabeu earlier this month.
Mariano, who is yet to start a game this season, has taken Hazard’s place in the squad.
The Dominican Republic had an off-season last campaign after returning from a season spell from Olympique Lyonnais.
Brahim Diaz and left backs Marcelo Ferland Mendy have also been included in the squad for today’s late-night fixture.
Brazilian starlets Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo have also found a place in Zidane’s 19-man squad.
