Juventus maintained their unbeaten start to the Serie A season with a 2-0 win over SPAL on Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the second half after Miralem Pjanic had given the champions a first-half lead.
Gianluigi Buffon kept a clean sheet on his 903rd club appearance. The ex-Parma and PSG man broke Paulo Maldini’s record of 902 club appearances.
SPAL delivered a solid display but failed to test the champions as Buffon remained largely quiet all match.
Dybala and Ramsey went close to put the host in front before Pjanic scored a screamer just before the break.
In the second half, Dybala and Khedira both had chances to extend Juve’s lead.
SPAL, who are bottom of the table, fail to create any threat. The visitors have scored just 5 times this season.
Etrit Berisha kept the visitors in the game as he pulled off a couple of fine saves to deny Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Ronaldo scored from a header to beat Berisha and put the game in bed.
With this win, Juventus continued the pressure on leaders Inter Milan, who play Sampdoria later today.
Juventus will now entertain Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
Next week, The Old Lady will be on the road as they take on Inter Milan at the San Siro on Sunday, before the international break.
