After their decent run of form, including a 2-1 win over local rivals Manchester City, Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bisakka said that there’s still a lot more to come from the club.
“I’m happy with the team and what we’ve done together, so far, and I think there’s more to come. That’s why I joined – to be a part of such a great club,” MUTV quoted Wan-Bisakka as saying.
Since arriving from Crystal Palace in the summer, Wan-Bisakka has been the club’s most dominant player, but he was quick to point out that the fans deserve a lot of credit for his form.
“The fans have been great. They help me in every game and their reactions to my
tackles help me a lot during games. It’s nice to hear the praise,” he said.
Manchester United has won four of their last five games in the Premier League, including a couple of 2-1 wins over Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
Reflecting on the same, Wan-Bisakka added: “My first derby was a good experience. I was excited for it and I was excited after the game. It was a terrific week for us.”
In their next Premier League fixture, Manchester United will take on Watford City at Vicarage Road on Sunday.
