MS Dhoni has been in headlines ever since India’s exit from the World Cup after the defeat against New Zealand at the Old Trafford.

Dhoni, who holds an Honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army, will not be playing any part for India in the West Indies. He has chosen to train with his regime.

General Bipin Rawat has permitted MS Dhoni to take part in the Paramilitary Regiment training and won’t travel to the West Indies.

MS Dhoni had a torrid World Cup and was asked to retire from International setup.

Rishabh Pant will be Dhoni’s replacement in West Indies for the limited-overs formats. However, Wriddhiman Saha will fight Rishabh Pant for a place in the Test team.
