During the first day of the first Test against Bangladesh, a video of India skipper Virat Kohli went viral, asking fans to cheer for Mohammed Shami instead of him.
The incident took place during the 54th over when Shami dismissed Mehidy Hasan for a golden duck.
Fans were left awestruck after seeing Virat’s selfless avatar.

Mohammed Shami was on-a-roll on Day 1 as almost picked a hattrick in the 18th over of Bangladesh’s innings.
Shami returned with a figure of 3/27 as India bundled out Bangladesh for 150.
The visitors were 140/5 at a stage before their batting faltered under pressure.
Ashwin, Ishant and Umesh picked two wickets each while Jadeja finished wicket-less.
Ravichandran Ashwin registered his 250th Test wicket at home after dismissing Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque.
By achieving the feat, Ashwin became only third Indian bowler to scalp 250 wickets at home in the longest format.
Although India lost Rohit Sharma early before Agarwal and Pujara stitched an unbeaten 72-run stand, so far, as India ended Day 1 at 86/1.
Pujara is batting on 43 while Mayank Agarwal, who smashed a double century against South Africa, is also unbeaten on 37.
