Motorola the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand on Thursday at a press conference in Los Angeles launched the reinvention of its iconic flip phone in the form of a foldable smartphone. Simply known as Motorola Razr (2019), the new generation smartphone features a flexible screen that folds and unfolds to give it the traditional clamshell look.
A secondary screen has been added on the front with a wide-notch, which is called the Quick View external display, to offer faster access to time, messages, extended notifications, music, Google Assistant, and more.
The launch price of Motorola Razr (1019) foldable phone is $1,499 that roughly translates to Rs 1,07,850. The phone is expected to go on sale starting January 9, 2020, in the United States and the pre-orders start from 26 December of this year. Motorola hasn’t revealed the launch date in India of the Moto Razr but we expect the phone to hit the market sooner than later.

Motorola Razr (2019) is a foldable phone which comes with two screens and Noir Black color; one sits inside while the other is on the outside. When unfolded, there is a flexible 6.2-inch pOLED screen, the screen offers a 21:9 CinemaVision aspect ratio similar to some of the previously launched Motorola smartphones. When folded it offers a 2.7-inch gOLED touch cover screen that offers an aspect ratio of 4:3. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the bottom.

The weight of the smartphone is 205 g (7.23 oz). It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage and no slot for a memory card. Powered by a 2,510mAh battery which is non-removable with 15W fast charging.
The phone features 16-megapixel rear camera with features like Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with HDR as the main feature.
In terms of connectivity, there is no SIM Card slot of the phone, but it does support eSIM cards.
Other important features of the phone include NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, Android 9.0 (Pie).
