Samsung on Tuesday launched its first A series 5G smartphone at their headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will be up for sale in Korea starting from September 4. Samsung said that the smartphone will be available for global markets soon.

Galaxy A90 5G comes up with an Infinity-U display and a U-shaped notch upfront. The rear body is covered in a dual-tone glass with a radiant finish as well.
The smartphone will be available in two colour variants, Black and White.

Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display. In terms of CPU, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 coupled with a Snapdragon X50 5G modem. It has a 12GB built-in storage and 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Although, It also has expandable storage of up to 512 GB. The smartphone also comes up with a ‘Game Booster’ for enhanced gaming performance.
For photography, Galaxy A90 5G possesses a triple-camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It comes up with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and ‘Live Focus Mode’.
Also, it has additional features like ‘Super Steady’, ‘Scene Optimizer’ and ‘Flaw Detector’.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has a power-packed 4500 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging support. The smartphone features an on-screen fingerprint scanner for security. For alternatives, it also provides facial recognition.
The Smartphone is also the first to support Samsung DeX App.
According to reports, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has been priced at 900,000 won (Rs 53,100 approx).
