Jason Mamoa aka Aquaman from Justice League and Netflix’s Luke Cage fame Alfre Woodard announced their new ten-episode post-apocalyptic series- See. This series appears to be in post- apocalyptic look which is set in future when human race is wiped out leaving behind a few million. Woodard said, “See asks the questions you may have already started asking: How much of my experience of the world is visual? Without sight, would it change who I am? This is a world constructed unlike any we’ve ever experienced.”
Oprah Winfrey announced an expansive partnership and described two projects- Toxic Labor and another unnamed series. Toxic Labor will be based on sexual harassment in workplace and other will be based on mental health.
Little Voice will be a series which will be based on a young woman finding her voice as a woman and artist in NYC. The series will feature JJ Abrams and singer-songwriter Sarah Bareillis. The show also features some of Bareillis own experiences.
