iPhone 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max launched with triple cameras: Here are the details

Apple Inc on Tuesday launched iPhone 11, and advanced next-generation model — iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max at its annual event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino city.

According to reports, the iPhone 11 is aimed at general iPhone users, the iPhone 11 Pro models are for “Pro” users who want to get more done out of their smartphones.

The iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max succeed last year’s iPhone XS and XS Max respectively.

The company also revealed details about Apple Arcade game subscription service as well as Apple TV+ video streaming service.

Apple also launched the next-gen Apple Watch Series 5 and a new 7th gen 10.2-inch iPad with an attractive design and noteworthy features.

iPhone 11

The company unveiled the iPhone 11, its new affordable iPhone that comes with a dual camera, Dolby Atmos audio, Wi-Fi 6 and A13 Bionic chip

Company has clearly put on a lot of energy into the camera, which has a dual-camera set up: one 12mp wide lens, 26mm f/1.8 and an ultra-wide 12mp f/2.4 sensor.

New camera software features include next-generation Smart HDR, improved Night Mode, and enhanced Portrait Mode.

The phone will come in six colours – Purple, White, Green, Yellow, Black, and Red with 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display.

In terms of the battery life, Apple claims the iPhone 11 will offer “one hour more than iPhone XR” on a single charge.

The model also comes with the ‘Night Mode’ feature and its price starts from USD 699 (roughly Rs 50,000) in the US and is expected to be Rs 64,900 in India for its 64 GB variant.

iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max

The big standout feature of this series is the three rear cameras set-up with 4x optical zoom including the wide, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses.

It has three 12-megapixel image sensors that are accompanied by f/1.8 wide-angle, f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle, and f/2.4 telephoto lenses.

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook defines iPhone 11 Pro to be designed for people who are looking for the “most sophisticated technology.”

The phone comes with a new matte finish on the back, a design featuring surgical-grade stainless steel with a single sheet of matte glass.

Both will be available in five new colours: green, space grey, silver, and gold.

The company has also upgraded its photography features with a new dedicated Night mode to improve performance in dark lighting, which will pick up automatically when you’re shooting in the dark.

The latest model has the A13 Bionic chip just as in iPhone 11 which Apple says has both, the fastest CPU and GPU ever in a smartphone.

Talking about the battery life, Apple claims that the iPhone 11 Pro should get up to four hours better battery life than last year’s XS.

The high-end iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max both start with 64GB internal storage that are priced at USD 999 (roughly Rs 71,800) in the US and is expected to be Rs. 99,900 in India.

iPhone 11 Pro Max will retail at Rs. 1,09,900 in India and at USD 1,099 (roughly Rs. 78,900) in the US.
