After a week of its global launch in the US and few other markets, Apple’s new iPhones – iPhone XS and XS Max, will be launched in India today, at 6 pm. The company is importing around a lakh units of both the models for the launch phase.
The launch phase will be in top 12 cities which include New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad amongst others.
Like it did in the West, the pricier and larger screen iPhone XS Max is likely to see more response. Retailers too, have confirmed that the maximum pre-bookings in India has been for this model. Apple had started pre-booking of the new handsets since a week.
Apple’s iPhone XS is priced between Rs 99,900 to Rs 1,34,900, while the iPhone XS Max is priced in the range of Rs 1,09,900 to Rs 1,44,900.
