Samsung has confirmed that it’s Galaxy Fold smartphone will finally launch in September, 5 months after the initial launch date of 26th April.
In March, Samsung had revealed it’s first Galaxy Fold smartphone in an event. But, according to various reports, the phone had many issues that needed to be eradicated.
Chinese mobile giants Huawei and Xiaomi, after Samsung Galaxy Folds launch delay, were looking to beat Samsung by launching their respective fold mobiles. However, Samsung has still managed to win the race and the smartphone will drop in September.
During a launch event in March, where Samsung Galaxy S10 and other products were launched, The Korean tech giants distributed the Galaxy Fold smartphones to selected people and media for testing. According to reports, withing hours, the phone started to have several issues.
Samsung has increased the surface area of the film over the display and to decrease the possibility of the screen peeling off, the edges have been slipped over the full screen.
Huawei has also extended the release of its fold smartphone and will definitely wait for Samsung’s Galaxy Fold launch.
