Vivo has launched a new smartphone equipped with triple rear cameras in India.
Vivo V15 features a 32-Megapixel selfie camera that pops up from the body of the device. An official for the company stated the new device would list for pre-orders starting next week.
Vivo will sell the V15 to Indian customers through online channels such as Vivo India e-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Tata CLiQ.
Vivo will also sell the smartphone through offline channels. Priced at 23,990 INR, the V15 will be available with a configuration of 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Vivo V15 features dual SIM compatibility and packs a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) screen with InCell FullView Display and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. For protection, Vivo has encased the new device in Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC is the beating heart of the V15.
Vivo said it would sell the new device in a range of colours such as Frozen Black, Glamour Red, and Royal Blue. Observers in the industry state this indicates Vivo is targeting the youth segment among smartphone buyers in India.
Vivo V15 will launch with offers such as free one-time screen replacement, up to 15 months no-cost EMI offers, extra exchange value of 2,000 INR, and certain loyalty benefits for customers that exchange their old smartphones.
In addition, the V15 is equipped with benefits worth 10,000 INR from telecom service provider Reliance Jio which includes up to 3.3TB of 3G data and the Jio Vivo Cricket Offer. Further, Vivo has collaborated with a number of banks that will offer 5% cashback to buyers of the new smartphone.
